The Article is devoted to the study of the use of personnel audit to assess the activities of the personnel management service of a large enterprise in the implementation of professional standards. The article shows the change in the role of human resources services in the per-
sonnel management system at the present stage, manifested in the expansion and complexity of functions, increasing the requirements and responsibility for the efficiency and effectiveness of the formation and development of human resources capable of due professional-
ism and competence to properly implement the goals and objectives of the company. The importance of assessing the quality of distribution and regulation of functions of personnel services specialists, as it affects the quality of personnel work as a whole, is substantiated.
The article considers the approaches to the definition and disclosure of the content of personnel audit, reflects the issues to be studied and evaluated. The article describes the experience of the audit of the personnel Department as the main unit involved in the organization and coordination of personnel management activities in the JSC "Spasskcement". The results of the analysis of normative and organiza-
tional support of the Department based on the study of documents and other sociological methods are presented. These results indicate that the staffing and the staffing of the units, qualification requirements, optimal organizational structure, etc. Suggested in the article the functional matrix can serve as a basis for the distribution of functional duties of employees of personnel sevices of various organizations. At the same time, the problem of the lack of a system of criteria and indicators for assessing the effectiveness and efficiency of work was identified. In thisregard, the approximate performance evaluation indicators of employees and units that can be recommended for implementation in practice.
